WHERE WE ARE
In the ample area of sea between North and South America lie the Antilles, a group of magic islands that form an arc dividing the Caribbean Sea from the Atlantic Ocean and extend from the Florida as far as the northern coast of Venezuela. In the center of this great archipelago, between Cuba and Puerto Rico, is the Dominican Republic.
The Dominican Republic occupies, together with Haiti, the Island of Hispaniola, an extensive area of great natural and cultural importance whose southern coast is washed by the Caribbean Sea.
It is here that we find the Marina di Casa de Campo, which exploits its privileged geographic position in relation to Florida and the islands to the north such as Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, as well as its proximity to Puerto Rico. It acts as a nautical bridge with the entire arc of the eastern Caribbean islands.

IDEAL FOR SAILING BOATS
The sea area in front of the Marina, lying between Catalina Island to the southwest and the Island of Saona to the southeast, has proved ideal for sailing boats. The offshoot of the Island of Saona to the south creates a large area of sea sheltered from the waves but open to the trade winds that blow on an average of 18 to 20 knots with minimum oscillations between the first and second quadrant.
